Raising living standards in the poorest areas of our country is a major challenge . Local charities often get directly involved working with families to make meaningful changes to their lives. They tackle poverty on the front line.
Caring in Bristol, one of our Homeless Hub charities, which has been helping the homeless since 1987 is a great example. Our aim is to work long term with charities such as Caring in Bristol<\/a>, Love Marlborough Kids Meals<\/a> in Wiltshire and Blooming Blossom Trust <\/a>in London.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Stockdales<\/a> is a charity in Sale Cheshire which is dedicated to supporting people with a wide range of complex needs, bringing independence and quality to their lives. How do you go about helping “People in Need”? Take a look at what this charity does each and every day of the week.
It is tremendously rewarding to partner with Stockdales, a Partner Charity, to make a real difference to people who ask for little and bring such joy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Saving Lives & Improving Health<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Childhood illnesses and the growing number of people suffering from dementia impact the lives of so many in our communities. We continue to support Alder Hey Children’s Hospital <\/a>in Liverpool and the University of Derby in their work to make a real difference by saving lives and improving health. Both are Partner Charities. We fund the cost of essential equipment and targeted research.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We channel our grants through three hubs<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partner Charities Hub<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Small group of well established, efficient and superbly managed charities each with a great track record of delivering vital services and programmes . We work with these charities in partnership to tackle the challenges that are important to us both. This is not a closed group and new members are invited to become Partner Charities having demonstrated that they are a strong match. A major share of our grant budget is directed at supporting this Grant Hub. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homeless Hub<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our Homeless Hub focuses on working in partnership with local charities dealing with homelessness. They may operate in our cities, towns or rural communities but all have the aim to end homelessness for good . There is no limit to the number of charities we partner but each one will have a track record of effective support to homeless people in their area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Hub<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We support smaller charities largely dependent upon volunteers that deliver focused services to their local communities. This group of charities, between them, cover a wide range of activities. Our aim is to help give them some financial stability , grow their reach and perhaps undertake new challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Grant Budget this year<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our grant budget for 2026\/27<\/mark> is \u00a360,000<\/mark>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our<\/strong> pipeline continues to grow but we are always interested in great proposals that meet our objectives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
