Why did we set up the Foundation?
The Foundation was set up in 2014 as a registeredgrant making charity to work with quality charities focused on making a real difference to people lives across a range of needs. Our first donation was received in April 2015 followed, in July 2015, withour first grant to Tiger Kloof, a township school in Vryburg, South Africa, to fund the installation and operation of wifi which has transformed teaching and learning at this impressive institution.

The Foundation is committed to being open, welcoming and transparent. The trustees make available a wide range of information about the Foundation to help you gain a better understanding about who we are and what we are about.
What is our strategy and approach?
Want to work with small and medium sized charities with focused aims and a successful record of tackling their target need.
Support vibrant, innovative and super efficient charities to deliver meaningful benefits that have a tangible impact on improving people’s lives. These charities will be well run with great leadership, clear objectives and proven track records.
Build long term relationships with like-minded charities.We believe fewer but deeper commitments will deliver the best results over time.
Our focus is to offer grants to help fund agreed activities. This could includeequipment, consumables or part of a large project.
We make sure that our Foundation is run efficiently. We have no staff with the trustees undertaking all the administrative work claiming only reasonable expenses.
Our aim is for over 95% of our income to be takenup by the annual Grant Budget or added to the Expendable Endowment Fund to secure future budgets.
We will only work directly with charities and will not engage with intermediaries nor respond to marketing circulars.
